Digital radiography which allows Dr. Hofmann to view your x-rays immediately and decreases your x-ray exposure. The digitized x-ray also allows me to show you on a large screen exactly what is going on with your teeth, gums, and bone.

LASER DENTISTRY: Gives me more accuracy in surgery and helps me to perform surgical procedures with minimal discomfort and bleeding; along with quick healing.

We use both Lidocaine and Septocaine which helps those people who have had trouble numbing.

A dental chair, the Back Pleaser, will gently massage your back, neck and head. The massaging vibration also soothes the sound of the drill and its vibrations.

Laughing Gas aids in relaxing you.

Tooth Aid Kit

Rescue & Restore (R&R) is the best restorative material in emergency situations and provides a quick and effective way for Dentists to repair a damaged tooth. R&R will adhere to enamel, dentin, metal and even tissue.

It is completely biocompatible and will work even in a moist environment. The material is extremely adaptable, giving the practitioner time to mix it and place it before it sets. Once R&R sets, it is easily polished with a multi-fluted bur (preferably a dull one). The material is resistant to dissolving and to pressure. Previously placed restorations have lasted as long as 16 years (the extent of Dr. Hofmann's studies on its durability). You may request a study done at Baylor School of Dentistry which shows that R&R is stronger and easier to use than the comparable Fuji product.

It is also more reasonable in price. R&R is great for cementing metal bands, tough temporaries, or broken-down crowns, inlays or bridges. R&R mixed in thicker proportions is great for restoring primary caries, root caries, or decay in bleeding areas. R&R is very effective in creating an adhesive and strong protective matrix for doing root canals on badly broken-down teeth. The Tooth-Aid kit has enough powder and liquid to repair approximately 6 teeth.

COMPARISON: The Dentist's "Tooth- Aid Kit" is an easy to use, very strong and adhesive glass ionomer-metal mixture. It is stronger, more adhesive, and more cost effective than any similar material including Fuji's Miracle Mix.
